It produces a lot of of yellow and long fruits which measure 15 cm. The plant can reach 60-70 cm in height, why it is suitable for growing in pots, it will need support for the weight of his large production. Its peppers have a fruity flavour, with a high level of itching. They have a smoother skin than Red Cayenne and are a bit larger. It will produce creamy yellow flowers.

Planting is from February to May. Pepper needs at least 20°C to germinate, so it is always advisable to sow in seedbeds inside. We have to sow 2 or 3 seeds per small seedbed of approximately 1 cm depth. We must always keep the soil moist. Later, when the weather was enough warm, we can transplant into the garden or pots. like all peppers they need enough hot and light. We also need to water them fairly but without flooding, so we will get to give more fruit and better.

The fruits ripen between 85 and 95 days.  To harvest, cut the fruit with scissors, we shouldn't pull the peppers because we could damage the plant. While they are ripening their itching is increasing. The peppers can be eaten when they are green, but will be less spicy. The maximum they get itchy when fully yellow and measure about 15 cm. If we harvest we favor more production. It is important that, when you touch the seeds for planting and harvest the peppers, don't touch your face before washing hands, because they can cause burning. They can be stored in pickles, freeze or dry.

They are delicious in sauces, stews, pickles and chips, this variety is widely used in dry curry powder and can also be eaten fresh. They are easy to dry and even decorative in the kitchen on riestras or crowns.

Peppers contribute to our diets a lot of vitamins, fiber, potassium and antioxidants. The red varieties have higher amounts of vitamins C and A. The pepper has stimulant, digestive, cardiovascular and disinfectant properties. It provides the body with a large dose of silicon and fluorine, which is very important for nails, hair and skin. Among its benefits we can highlight that: neutralizes acidity, improves rheumatism and arthritis, active liver function and it is vasodilator. Its consumption is important to prevent the onset of degenerative and chronic diseases.

On the other hand, capsaicin which gives to chili peppers their hotness, has a natural antibiotic action, hence foods made with chilies are kept better. They also have some analgesic effect. The hot peppers aren't harmful in people with stomach problems in general, a moderate amount favor the digestion by stimulating stomach mucosa and gallbladder function.

We can plant the peppers with tomatoes, eggplant, carrots, sprouts, basil, geraniums and petunias, but not kale, cabbage, beans, red beets, peas, fennel and Brussels sprouts.
