tropaeolum peregrinum - nasturtium with yellow flowers that look like the wings of a flapping canary, hence its common name
Nasturtium variety that establishes long vines, up to 250 cm long. They are best grown near a fence or trellis for support. They can also be used to populate railings and pillars on balconies and porches. Its bright and cheerful yellow petals resemble the wings of a canary bird, hence its common name, the canary vine. Although it is a flowering nasturtium plant, you may notice that the leaves are not shaped similarly to other varieties of Tropaeolum. Despite this visual difference, they are still just as attractive and tasty.
