Variety native to French Provence, where it is widely cultivated. It is a creeping variety of the Cucurbita moschata species. The plant is vigorous and very productive. The flattened fruit has an orange-brown skin with marked groove markings. The pulp is very thick, bright orange in color and of excellent quality. Equally good is its shelf life.
